- In 2007 I began researching technological advancements in 3D printing and I stumbled upon a company who is able to print a 3D CAD model directly in metal. I became so intrigued with the possibilities that I began developing and sculpting machine frames using a number of 3D modeling programs. After months of research and development I finally got the geometry correct. These are the first machines that I have made using this new technology and I am very excited to delve deeper into this process in the future.
