- A time lapse video of me creating a 72" X 60" self portrait in oils.
This project was a study of two artists techniques. The first artist referenced is Chuck Close who has painted large portraits using the grid method. The second artist is Lucian Freud who paints very loose portraits with very loose brushstrokes and loads of paint.
